If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, put the kids to bed, or go in the other room and have a peak (so we can discuss)
I have to start off by saying I only read a bit of the first book, so I’m no expert on this, but I did listen to a lot of conversations about the books (some I wish I could erase from my memory). Even though I didn't read all three books cover to cover, I do have an opinion (I know shocker right?!) on the recently released movie trailer.
Boy did they miss the mark in their Christian Grey casting!!!! Jamie Dornan does not scream sexy, raunchy, or intensely passionate – basically not the man I envisioned in my head. Now Charlie Hunnam, who they originally cast to play Christian Grey – he screams throw you against the wall and have his way with you sexy!
Others that would have been great for this roll (again just my opinion), Tom Hardy, Jeremy Renner, Tyler Hoechlin, and Colin Farrell.
I’m a bit torn still on how I feel about the overall trailer, I feel like it’s lacking something. Don't get me wrong I'll still see the movie when it comes out, but I think it's been receiving more hype than it deserves.
What do you think? Will you see it? Who would have been your ideal Christian Grey?
